'Loving Us More' Mobb Deep Concert in NYC

'New Yitty' They're back!! 'The Best of Queens' power poets brought heat to the Best Buy Theater Thursday night May 12, 2011.

Everything flowed last night, from their clean line-up which included The Roots, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon & Capadona, and last but not least the M-O-B-B. Their performance of the Quiet Storm remix featuring Lil Kim was the sure crowd pleaser. Everyone caught the "holy hip-hop" at sight of her purple mini-dressed, Brooklyn swag and low-crouched swing.

Black Thought delivered his mind, body and spiritual consciousness, opening the floor.

'P' was behind bars, writing bars on pull-up bars. He looks like he had a personal chef and options. Good eating my brother! Time isn't the only thing he maxed; he's never been bigger.
Prodigy was released this year on March 7 after serving 3 years in prison for gun possession. "It's a fresh start" for P, as he expresses in their 'Love Y'all More' new release. His delivery was felt deep throughout the 2100 capacity theater, the venue has never been more packed..

It's the real baby-- hip-hop hip-hop hip-hop!!! Mobb Deep brought it back where it's supposed to be.

Young Veterans- IMD

MOBB DEEP, GHOSTFACE KILLAH, RAEKWON & THE ROOTS

The Infamous Mobb Deep  will start their tour on the other side of their Queens' Bridge Housing Project in Manhattan, at Time Squares' Best Buy Theater, Thursday May 12th.

Queens finest duo includes rapping poet Prodigy and producer/rapper Havoc.

"At 16, [he] mastered the 16 bars." Prodigy's stories flow but don't seem to care much about rhyming all of the time. He's just talking and it's rhythmically telling. There's a lot of stuff on his mind that just rolls off of his tounge. He exposes conspiracy to coping, from living with sickle cell anemia to "illuminati wants your mind soul and your body."

The H.N.I.C.'s of 1990's NYC style hip-hop are well recognized and respected coast to coast.

From New York City, Mobb Deep will be touring throughout Cali; ending up back in Massachustets.

Showtime PPV presents Pacquiao Vs. Mosely Saturday, May 7th

The fight sold out in 48 hours for Saturday night, May 7th.

On Friday, May 6th Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and "Sugar" Shane Mosely were at Las Vegas' MGM Grand preparing to be weighed-in for the following days match.

Mosely, bearing a smile and a shoulder worn tribal tattoo sported a powder blue Adidas sweat suit. He stripped down to a pair of white and grey Calvin Klien briefs, and stepped onto the scale. "147 pounds" was called out by the commentator.

Mosely, 46-5 39 k.o.'s, knocked out Margarito, something Pacquiao did not do. He has World Championship titles in lightweight, welter weight, and junior weight.

Known by nickname "Sugar", despite its sweet sound, Mosely fights to the bitter end victorious in most cases.

However, if he should defeat the "Pacman" on Saturday night, it is sure to be an upset.

A young teenage girl stood up to ask Pacquiao if his new hair cut was representative of his being a fan of Justin Beiber. Pacquiao laughed and responded that his "idol" is Bruce Lee, the original trendsetter.

Mosely may have accumulated his fame becoming the best pound for pound, and he may be a well respected name and face to boxing buffs but, he cannot compete with being the underdog to the new poster child of boxing, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. Mosely will be turning 40 in September.

Promoting legend Bob Arum, who has represented Muhammad Ali, says "Pacquiao is the greatest fighter that I've ever seen!"

The Filipino native, Pacquiao  brightened the room with his bright red sweat suit and yellow t-shirt complimented by rosary beads. He weighed in at 145 pounds.

"He's fast with his hands and feet, he has great ring intelligence and punches equally well with both hands," stated Arum.

"Pacman" is fast and he is not afraid of trading punches.

Nazim Richardson, trainer, shares his predictions with Associated Press  sayign, "If he can be the best 'Sugar' Shane Mosely that there is, then Pacquiao has problems."

A young boy, approximately 10 years old, stood up shaking his head and asked Pacquiao, "are you ready for Mosely's body punches?"

Mosely tells Showtime that he is not intimidated and the Pacquiao hype is not getting under his skin.

The well trained and calculated "Bruce Lee styled", "south paw"  admits that he is not taking his legendary contender "lightly" and he is totally focused on the fight.

Does the New Bishop Have the Juice?

Juice, the classical 1992 screenplay by Ernest R. Dickerson and Gerard Brown, was about four Harlem, New York teenagers who became caught up in the money chase. They were in sight of the "Juice".

Soulja Boy has been working on a 2011 "Atlanta" remake of the classic hip-hop film.

"Is the slang 'juice' even suitable to their southern twang?"

This is a 'Trip'!! (character played by Samuel L. Jackson; quote from the original movie)

"Just 'cause you pour syrup on something doesn't make it pancakes!"- Trip

Juice is a classic!
Hip-hop's got the juice!

Listen to the soundtrack Soulja, which he admits to never have hearing... In this case,

"You ain't got the juice!"

Even Ice-T is juice, when he says "Crank dat," "What?” “But that’s Pac… At some point, somebody gotta stop it. I came out. I made some statements. Man, I don’t know. Do you, dude, do you. If the masses accept it, it shows you the state we’re in… Come on man, you think I’d try to remake Pac’s movie?"

Truest story!

Thus far, there are no actors or even musicians starring in the film.

Soulja Boy chose Waka Flocka to join him in the remake.

"I felt like if I was gonna put anybody in the movie, that it should make sense and be somebody that I really got a relationship with in the rap game for real," says Soulja when discussing his choice.

According to Bet.com, he will play a role in Soulja's crew.

But then again Bishop said "you gotta snap some collars and let them motherfuckers know you here to take them out anytime you feel like it! You gotta get the ground beneath your feet partner, get the wind behind your back and go out in a blaze if you got to! Otherwise you ain't shit! You might as well be dead your damn self!"

So lets see what they've got.

"One, if [you] lose, I'm gonna beat that ass. Two, if [you] lose, I'm gonna beat that ass. So pop two quarters in, pop tart, and let's get this game on, [bet he'll] be gettin' that ass!"- Bishop (Tupac Shakur)
