'Loving Us More' Mobb Deep Concert in NYC
'New Yitty' They're back!! 'The Best of Queens' power poets brought heat to the Best Buy Theater Thursday night May 12, 2011.
Everything flowed last night, from their clean line-up which included The Roots, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon & Capadona, and last but not least the M-O-B-B. Their performance of the Quiet Storm remix featuring Lil Kim was the sure crowd pleaser. Everyone caught the "holy hip-hop" at sight of her purple mini-dressed, Brooklyn swag and low-crouched swing.
Black Thought delivered his mind, body and spiritual consciousness, opening the floor.
Prodigy was released this year on March 7 after serving 3 years in prison for gun possession. "It's a fresh start" for P, as he expresses in their 'Love Y'all More' new release. His delivery was felt deep throughout the 2100 capacity theater, the venue has never been more packed..
